The lithium powered Smart Car will be produced and shipped for federal testing and evaluation during this quarter according to Hybrid Technologies' engineering department. Hybrid having already worked with the United States Navy Special Warfare Department has pursued military and high profile federal agencies for fleet replacement, thus creating a highly lucrative sales channel.
The corporation's move to Mooresville, N.C. was in part due to the need for increased productivity to meet the Sales and Marketing Department needs.
In addition to federal interest in the Hybrid produced lithium Smart Car, Hollywood producers have expressed significant interest in the Smart Car. It is anticipated that the vehicle will appear on several top rated talk shows and box office heavy hitters.
