PCS Edventures! Announces More Lab Sales to Edison Schools

BOISE, Idaho, Oct. 4, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- PCS Edventures! (OTCBB:PCSV) today announced a significant Lab installation into the Friendship Edison Academy located in Washington, DC. This $95,000 installation involves a broad array of PCS products including the PCS Academy of Engineering, PCS Edventures! Lab(tm), PCS Academy of Science(tm), and BrickLab(tm) for use throughout the five Friendship Edison campuses at all grade levels.

"We are delighted to be working so closely with Edison Schools and the Friendship Edison Academy. In addition, it is our hope to expand the presence of these product lines into the juvenile justice programs managed by Friendship Edison in the near future," said Joe Egusquiza, International and Corporate sales manager for PCS Edventures!

Innovative, hands-on learning programs are shown to be more effective at motivating and engaging at-risk students. PCS Edventures! research based programs are developed around the premise that student-centered, project based learning will engage and motivate a student to want to learn and to be successful. In the case of juvenile justice programs, hands-on programs dealing with engineering, robotics and architecture are highly likely to be more effective at rekindling an interest in education.

Friendship Edison Academy is operated by Edison Schools, Inc. Edison Schools, Inc. now serves more than 250,000 public school students in over 20 states across the country and in the U.K. through its whole school management partnerships with district and charter schools; summer, after-school, and SES programs; and achievement management solutions for school systems.
