Delta Announces Successful Start of Operations at Indramayu Facility

SELLERSVILLE, Pa., Dec. 29, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Delta Mutual, Inc. (OTCBB:DLTM), specializing in energy recovery and construction services through environmentally-friendly technologies and products, today announced the successful start of operations at the Company's first permanent oil sludge processing facility in Indonesia through its Delta-Envirotech subsidiary's local joint venture, PT. Tryhuda-Envirotech.

This initial unit is addressing the environmental concerns of contamination from oil sludge currently contained in pits. The oil recovered from the processed sludge will be returned to the refinery and the wastewater directed to the refinery's wastewater treatment facility.

Peter Russo, President and CEO, commented, "Through this agreement with Pertamina, the State-owned oil company in Indonesia, oil sludge, an ongoing by-product of refineries and present in oil storage tanks, can now be processed 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. The new facility, which commenced production on December 15, 2005, can process up to 200 metric tons of oil sludge per day, and processes and separates the sludge into low-grade oil and wastewater. The daily amount processed is conditioned by the density of the sludge. Tryhuda-Envirotech has received all the environmental approvals necessary to operate the permanent installation."

Russo went on to say "This facility marks the beginning implementation of our long-term strategic presence in Indonesia with our partner, Tryhuda. There are a total of six refineries in the region that generate an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 metric tons of oil sludge per month. We see this facility as a springboard for additional units to process sludge, and for the implementation and development of new environmentally related technologies." The Company expects that this facility and the methods of processing sludge and environmental restoration will become the standard for other areas and regions.
