Exciting New Website Brings the Best of the Internet to Busy Women; Tell Me Girlfriend Targets 'Late Boomers'

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., March 21, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Being "in the know" is no problem at Tell Me Girlfriend. www.TellMeGirlfriend.com, a recently launched internet portal provides busy women a new way to search for hip, hard-to-find, unique products geared to enhance their lifestyle. "We're like your personal online shoppers," says Terri Saeed, Founder. Like many internet-savvy women, Saeed loved the convenience of online shopping, but she was discouraged when she tried to find products that were out-of-the-ordinary. Search engines directed her to too many sites to count, and she still could not find what she wanted. Fellow Founders Alex Hill and Suzanne Jonsen had the same experiences, and they decided there must be a better way. The partners developed a better way, and Tell Me Girlfriend was born.

"We truly are the late boomers," says Jonsen. "We aren't 20-something anymore, but we aren't 60-something either." All three of "The Girlfriends" fit this demographic. "We couldn't find very much out there that targeted women like us. Most of the websites and online services we found target Gen-Xers or older Boomers. We didn't fit in to either category," states Hill. "We are educated, we're computer-savvy, we're established, we're professional, and we have our own style. What we don't have is the extra time to search for the things we like. We thought, "It would be great to have a website we could go to that featured the things we wanted and they had been reviewed by women like us."

Tell Me Girlfriend does not sell products, nor does it receive payment for the sites it features. Websites are selected for inclusion based on the quality of products offered, uniqueness of the products, their usability, functionality, coolness or "just because they speak to us," states Jonsen. "We also steer our members to informational sites we have found helpful." To make sure that the sites are truly relevant to Tell Me Girlfriend's audience, a special group of invitation-only women, the Best Girlfriends, are able to rate each recommendation. If the Best Girlfriends don't like a site, it's history and removed from TellMeGirlfriend.com. Site members are also encouraged to submit their favorite sites for review.

"We're building a resource for our community," Saeed observes. "With the explosion of the internet, a community is no longer limited by geography. Tell Me Girlfriend is building a resource for the 'late boomer' community by bringing interesting content together with interesting women."
