Unefon Expands Platform License from m-Wise

The Follow-on Deal Will Enhance the Mexican Operator's Mobile Content Offering


WILMINGTON, Del., April 25, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- m-Wise, Inc. (OTCBB:MWIS), a leading technology provider of mobile content solutions for operators, ASPs and content providers, today announced the purchase of additional mobile content solutions by Unefon, a leading mobile telephony operator in Mexico.

Based on the m-Wise MOMA Service Delivery Platform, Unefon will be able to expand its mobile entertainment portfolio by offering its subscribers interactive and personalized quiz and voting services via SMS and MMS.

In addition, Unefon upgrades its use of m-Wise MOMA content management and delivery platform by implementing the newly released product for flexible customization of mobile content portals. This solution will allow significantly easier and faster customization and personalization of Unefon's content sites.

This deal is a follow-on to the license agreement of January 2004 and will take the total license income from this agreement above $1 million. That in addition to profit share payments m-Wise is entitled to according to the agreement.

A study from The ARC Group, specializing in providing worldwide technology and market analysis, research on the communications industry, estimates that ring tones now account for more than 10% of the $32.3 billion in sales from music market worldwide. The firm also forecasted that the global market for ring tones will grow to $5.2 billion in 2006 and gaming will reach $8.3 billion in 2008, an increase from $2.4 billion in 2004.
