Proposal Management Platform PMAPS 2006 to be Showcased at Midwest PAICR Conference May 17-18

WESTPORT, Conn., May 8, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- PMAPS(r) 2006, the latest release of Proposal Software, Inc.'s Proposal Management and Production System, will be showcased at the Midwest Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources (PAICR) Conference, to be held in Chicago on May 17 and 18, 2006.

Scheduled for release next month, PMAPS(r) 2006 is the tenth generation of Proposal Software Inc.'s leading proposal management platform. PMAPS(r) 2006 contains over 150 new productivity improvements, including a new document assembly module. It also includes enhancements enabling it to integrate, exchange and coordinate data with a variety of external database formats, particularly CRM platforms. Examples are eASE Exchange, the leading consultant database platform in the financial services arena; LexisNexis' InterAction CRM application, the leading CRM platform within the legal community; and Accent Technologies, the leading PowerPoint driven "pitch book" management platform.

PMAPS(r) is a comprehensive, "industrial strength" proposal management platform in use by over 100 companies worldwide, many of them PAICR members. Originally developed in 1994 for a major healthcare Fortune 500 company, where it is still in use, PMAPS(r) has been continually upgraded in response to feedback from professional proposal managers. PMAPS(r) is currently used by major healthcare, financial services and Fortune 1000-size corporations from Guam to the European continent.

According to John Laurino, Proposal Software, Inc. CEO, PMAPS(r) -- with its demonstrably superior productivity in searching questionnaires, assembling proposals and maintaining a Q&A database -- is the clear front-runner among proposal management software for proposal professionals like PAICR members, regardless of industry type.

"We have experienced enormous demand for PMAPS(r) by leading edge companies who must continually respond to high volumes of RFP's in order to stay competitive," said Laurino. "PMAPS(r) is a powerful tool whose scalability and ease of use makes it the proposal management platform of choice for professional RFP teams of any size.

"We have successfully deployed PMAPS(r) across global teams of proposal professionals all sharing a single web-based application on a single server in a real-time production environment. It doesn't matter whether PMAPS is installed in London or in New York for parallel teams elsewhere to access the application. This 'work group' approach to the PMAPS(r) architecture keeps everyone on the same page, using the same data without risk of document duplication, lack of coordination among proposal teams, or the use of obsolete data in critical customer-facing RFP or RFI responses."
