New Negotiation Seminar Designed for Women -- Success Strategies for Your Career -- October Tour Schedule


NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- A recent Catalyst survey showed "that most large U.S. companies have made scant progress in advancing women...to leadership and top-paying positions over the past decade. In the last three years, average growth in the percentage of corporate officer positions held by women fell dramatically to 0.23 percentage points per year, the lowest yearly gain in the past ten years. If this rate of progress continues, it could take 40 years for women to achieve parity with men in corporate officer positions." Research indicates that one of the reasons for that is that women need to learn to negotiate more effectively and more often, especially for themselves.

Strategic Research Institute is please to announce that Lee E. Miller, co-author with his daughter of Woman's Guide to Successful Negotiating (McGraw Hill) selected by Atlanta Women magazine as one of the 50 best books for professional women and featured on The Early Show and Good Morning America, will be doing a negotiating and influencing seminar, designed especially for women, to help them move their careers forward. NegotiationPlus(tm) for Women seminars will be held around the country in October based on research from their book.

The cities on the tour this year are New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Woodbridge (Central New Jersey), Chicago, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle and Washington, DC.
