JAMAICA, N.Y., Oct. 3, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Terrence de Kretser, President of Paradigm Global Logistics (a division of Pacific CMA) (AMEX:PAM) today announced the completion of Paradigm's state-of-the-art warehouse and office complex in Los Angeles. The enlarged and newly upgraded space covers 14,000 square feet (a more than five-fold increase) and includes 16 security cameras and 10 loading docks.
Mr. de Kretser, who was appointed President in January 2006, stated, "This expansion is a direct result of the tremendous increase in sales, which for the nine (9) months ended September 30, 2006, have risen 85 percent (85%) over the same period for 2005."
In addition, a decision was made to consolidate Paradigm's operations. As a result, the Miami office of Paradigm International was folded into the Los Angeles office. All customers previously serviced through Miami are now working with the Los Angeles staff.
"Substantial savings and efficiencies should result from the relocation of the Miami operation to Los Angeles," said Mr. de Kretser. "I am very optimistic about the significant investment made in our Los Angeles facility. We will continue to give our customers exceptional service while we add new customers, both domestically and in Latin America."
