Data393 Raises $22,000 to Benefit Former Patients of Craig Hospital

Data Center's Internship Program for Craig Hospital Gives Graduates Second Chance, Extends Hospital's Outreach to Former Patients

ENGLEWOOD, CO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 20, 2006 -- Data393, a leading Colorado managed IT infrastructure provider, announced today it has raised $22,000 to benefit former patients of Craig Hospital, a facility exclusively dedicated to rehabilitation and research for patients with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries.

The money was donated by 138 players who participated in the Second Annual "Links for Craig" Golf Tournament on Sept. 25 at Pinehurst Country Club in southwest Denver. The money will fund MyCraig.org, a website dedicated to providing information, resources, and access to other former patients of Craig Hospital via the internet (www.mycraig.org). The funds also will help Data393 hire one former patient of Craig Hospital each year as an intern in web design and operations to assist getting them back into the workforce. In the last two years, Data393 has raised more than $45,000 to help fund MyCraig.org.

"We realized the hospital needed a method for tracking and maintaining alumni relationships, so we did what we do best: create and host a website specifically for Craig patients so they can continue to encourage and help one another after their stay," said Data393 Vice President of Sales and Co-Founder Erik Porter.

Currently, 750 alumni of Craig Hospital actively use www.MyCraig.org as a source for getting information about the latest research that might offer a cure, for identifying activities in Colorado and the U.S. that are accessible to those with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries or for getting in contact with former patients that share common experiences. In 2005, Craig Hospital treated patients from 47 states.

"Craig Hospital is pleased to be part of this unique collaboration with a local business like Data393 in developing and maintaining a website that has become an important staple for fostering communication among Craig graduates and staff," said Denny O'Malley, Craig Hospital's CEO.

In 2005, Data393 selected Craig Hospital graduate Troy Goulding as an intern to manage the newly developed MyCraig.org website. At age of 18, Troy was paralyzed from the neck down in a swimming pool diving accident. Through rehabilitation at Craig Hospital, Troy developed some use of his hands and arms. After years of remaining immobile and with little job prospects, Troy, now in his 30s, has earned enough money through his internship at Data393 to purchase a specially equipped van to give him the freedom to be mobile again.

"We are very fortunate to live in a business world that recognizes and values what is in your heart and in your mind rather than your physical strength, so the internship was a great way to complement MyCraig.org," added Porter. "Data393 has benefited in so many ways by having Troy be a part of our team."

"We want to grow the website and the internship program so we can continue to help Craig graduates like Troy," said Clare Canny, Data393's Sales Account Manager and golf tournament director. "Our goal for the mycraig.org website is to double its membership to 2,000. We want to ensure that every patient leaves Craig as a registered member and can start using its resources immediately."
