Amazon Veteran Joins Mercent to Drive Service Delivery for Mercent Retail


SEATTLE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 20, 2006 -- Mercent, a provider of online marketing technology and services for retail merchants, announced today the appointment of Alan Brozovich to Director of Service Delivery. Brozovich will be instrumental in driving the rapid integration of merchants' line of business systems with the Mercent Retail platform.

Mercent Retail integrates with existing back-end retail systems so marketers can make smarter online marketing decisions informed by back-end operational metrics including product inventory, cost of goods sold, and gross margin. The appointment of Brozovich is part of Mercent's continuing effort to recruit seasoned executives to deliver high-quality service for their roster of leading online merchants and future prospects. Brozovich will report directly to Mercent CEO Eric Best.

Prior to Mercent, Brozovich held multiple positions at Amazon.com ranging from his initial role developing Web applications for new product launches to managing the Retail Content Tools software team within Retail Systems. Most recently, he was the Director of Internet Production at World Vision, where he managed the Web production team and drove all e-commerce initiatives on its corporate Web site. Brozovich received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Seattle Pacific University.
