DALLAS, Jan. 9, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- While he's famous for the rarified air of his five-star French-inspired cuisine at Aurora, chef Avner Samuel's other creation - Urban Bistro - recently garnered praise as one of Dallas' "Best New Restaurants in 2006."
Think of Urban Bistro as Aurora's more affordable cousin, with its Mediterranean flair and its lower price points. It's one of the things that brought the first Urban Bistro location in the Park Cities to the forefront as a darling of both food critics and diners alike, and it's something Samuels is particularly proud of.

Both feature signature dishes Samuel calls his own - Moroccan beef cigars with a yogurt dill sauce for dipping, My Mother's Salad - redolent with lemon juice and olive oil and resplendent in color, and a trio of creme brulees.
Most entrees are around $20, and the feel is healthy, casual, and anything but stuffy.
