Neoware Names Bill Bredbenner Its Vice President of Product Management

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Feb. 12, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Neoware, Inc. (Nasdaq:NWRE), a leading provider of thin client computing solutions, announces the promotion of Bill Bredbenner to Vice President of Product Management. Bredbenner's appointment reflects Neoware's push to capitalize upon the growing popularity of its thin client solutions. The Company has grown from $11 million to more than $100 million since its fiscal year 2000.

In his new role, Bredbenner will manage all Neoware product offerings -- from concept and design, through development, launch and end-user support -- and position its worldwide engineering resources to better respond to customer needs and emerging technologies.

With over fifteen years of experience at Neoware, Bredbenner's career track closely parallels the organization's rapid growth and expansion. From an initial role as Developer, to more recent stints as Director of Software Engineering and Director of Advanced Development, Bredbenner has been a strong contributor to the success of Neoware.

It was the development team led by Bill Bredbenner that vaulted Neoware into the PC virtualization space, by leading the integration of Neoware software and devices with software from leading PC virtualization companies, such as VMware, IBM, Citrix, and Leostream.

"Neoware's investment in Marketing is a critical part of our strategy for growth," said Klaus Besier, CEO and President of Neoware. "We are happy to draw upon Bill's deep experience in the thin client industry, and look forward to his contributions in the form of new products, enhanced products, and new technologies that will enable Neoware to drive the security, manageability, and cost benefits of thin clients more broadly into the enterprise."

Bill Bredbenner is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
