B2 Digital, Inc. Announces Landmark Test of Digital Cable Transmission System

B2 Digital CATV System to Attempt to Deliver True IP Television, DVD Picture-Quality Through Co-Axial Cable

PHOENIX, Feb. 21, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- B2 Digital, Inc. (OTCBB:BTOD), an innovator in the digital content delivery business, announced that it has commenced a limited test of its Challenger DTTS-7000 Digital Cable Transmission System in Mesa, Arizona.

B2 Digital Chairman and CEO Robert Russell stated, "The initial test of our Challenger box is the culmination of many years of research and development with our technology partners at TVS. Our charge was to create a system that would deliver DVD quality content through co-axial cable - true IP television - inside of an existing network, and deliver that content to customers of existing cable companies."

"The present test involves our proto-type box and approximately 12 set-top boxes that have been spread across approximately 180 miles of cable system. We will serve STARZ programming through this system, to the set-top boxes. We expect to have the results of this test completed before the first week of March."

Mr. Russell added, "The potential of this new box is tremendous, as it offers numerous advantages over existing hardware infrastructures. We believe that smaller cable providers will realize the greatest benefit from this technology. According to the National Cable Cooperative, a leading national organization of cable operators, there are not less than 1,200 small cable providers in the U.S. alone."

According to B2 Digital, the following is a partial list of various advantages that may be realized should the Challenger box test prove to be successful:

-- The Challenger box is designed to deliver DVD quality content
through an analog network over co-axial cable.
-- Hotels will be able to add more pay-per-view channels easier
and without the costs of purchasing expensive tank filters
due to the 1:7 compression feature of the B2 Digital Challenger
     box.
-- Smaller cable providers will be able to overlay and underlay
internet services onto their existing technology platform,
using existing bandwidth, as a result of the considerable
digital compression features afforded with the B2 Digital
     Challenger box.
-- The B2 Digital Challenger box provides an emergency alert
system and eliminates the need for the smaller cable provider
to purchase the emergency alert system infrastructure.
-- B2 Digital allows the cable provider to re-gain control over
the customer experience by providing its own TV Guide through
an internet-based format, as well as channel re-alignment
features and numerous other features without any need to
     communicate with an uplink.
-- The accompanying set-top box for the B2 Digital Challenger box
costs approximately $80 versus $300 for competing set-top boxes.

Mr. Russell concluded, "We look forward to announcing the results of this limited test as soon as possible. More importantly, our team is anxious to learn from this experience, ultimately with the mind set of making our technology work more effectively for our customers and additional potential customers. In the end, we at B2 Digital are committed to being a leader in the digital content delivery business and we are confident that we are headed in a meaningful and potentially profitable direction."
