Old Mutual plc (the “Company”) announces that on 22 February 2007 it received a notice informing the Company that Legal & General Group Plc had at that date a notifiable interest in 193,845,480 ordinary shares, representing 3.52% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company and 3.72% of the total voting rights in the Company’s ordinary share capital.
