Name Change Reflects Company's Mission and Identity


MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 1, 2007 -- DigitalTown, Inc. today officially emerged from BDC Capital, Inc., as its new name took effect. The company's stock has received a new symbol and is now traded as (OTCBB: DGTW).

The company's board, which approved the new name in January, said it authentically reflects the company's focus on building online communities and completes its evolution from a business development corporation to an operating company. DigitalTown is linking together a nationwide networking portal that encircles nearly 27,000 community-based "spirit" sites.
