Neoware Image Manager to Be Demonstrated at VMworld 2007 Conference

Prototypes of Next Generation Mobile Thin Client also to be on Display; Neoware m2000 First Thin Client Powered by Intel(R) Processor

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Sept. 11, 2007 -- Neoware, Inc. (Nasdaq:NWRE), a leading provider of thin client computing solutions, today announced that they will be demonstrating Neoware Image Manager software at the VMworld 2007 conference taking place September 11-13, 2007, at the San Francisco Moscone Center. Neoware Image Manager is a ground-breaking technology that provides the ability to stream a full operating system to a thin client or PC through a standard network connection. Neoware will additionally be exhibiting the Neoware m2000, the next-generation mobile thin client device from Neoware. Announced on September 10, it is the first and only thin client device powered by an Intel(R) processor.

The VMworld demonstration will highlight how Neoware Image Manager can be plugged into a VMware virtual environment. Built using a standard Debian Linux(R) distribution, Neoware Image Manager can be plugged in and operational in less than five minutes. Virtual clients or physical devices can immediately start to have operating systems streamed to them, while system administrators will enjoy the ease of implementation and configuration.

When: Tuesday, September 11 - Wednesday, September 12

Where: VMworld, Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA; Booth # 901

Who: Neoware

What: Neoware Image Manager, Neoware m2000

Neoware Image Manager allows a thin client to run a full Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Professional operating system while additionally enabling a traditional PC to gain superior security and manageability of a thin client. Complementary toward existing technologies, including both desktop virtualization and server-based computing environments such as Citrix(R) or Microsoft(R) Terminal Services, Neoware Image Manager simplifies PC and thin client management by standardizing an organization's images based on business needs. With Neoware Image Manager running in a VMware environment, the number of desk images can be greatly reduced, resulting in significant savings in disk storage space, without limiting the functionality of a virtual image -- giving IT professionals control over the computing environment.
