Lars Lindgren new Executive Chairman of Spanair,  Lars Sandahl Sørensen new CEO
of SAS International

SAS Internationals' CEO Lars Lindgren has been appointed Executive Chairman of
Spanair, a member of the SAS Group.

Lars Lindgren has strong background of international airline operations and has
been a member of the Spanair board for 10 years. He is also a board member of
Swedish airline Skyways and Latvia-based airBaltic, also a member of the SAS
Group. Lindgren has held the position as CEO of SAS International since 2004 and
has been with Scandinavian Airlines since 1974.

Lars Sandahl Sørensen will succeed Lars Lindgren as CEO of SAS International as
of November 26. Sandahl Sørensen joined SAS in 2003 as General Manager,
Australia and New Zealand. In September 2006 he returned to Scandinavia and his
current role as Chief Commercial Officer.

Prior to SAS, Sandahl Sørensen was CEO of the Danish Tourist Board Visit Denmark
during 1995 and 2003.
