Dr. Thomas Livernois Joins World Energy Solutions' Scientific Advisory Panel


ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., June 30, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- World Energy Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB:WEGY), a company focused on energy conservation technologies and environmental sustainability, announced that Dr. Thomas Livernois of Exponent, Inc. has joined World Energy Solutions' Scientific Advisory Panel. Dr. Livernois specializes in the analysis and design of electrical and electronic systems, including automotive and commercial vehicle systems. He will assist the Company in the continued development of its proprietary H2O Energy System.

Tom Livernois has spent many years in the automotive industry, including with Ford Motor Company and Chrysler Corporation, where he specialized in the design and development of advanced electrical systems, electronic controls and semiconductors. He also worked with several OEMs and automotive component suppliers in the area of fuel delivery systems, which involved system level design enhancement systems for road and railroad propulsion applications. More recently, Dr. Livernois has been involved in the analysis of hybrid motor vehicle fuel systems.

Dr. Livernois's specific vehicle experience covers powertrain, chassis, and safety systems, including system performance in crashes and fires. Other areas of expertise include hybrid vehicle power train architectures and systems performance, electrocution risk assessment, electrical power distribution faults, and various electrostatic discharge phenomena. Dr. Livernois has also been involved with several intellectual property cases.

Dr. Livernois is a Principal Engineer in the Electrical and Semiconductors Practice at Exponent Inc. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and (ASME) the Industrial Advisory Board for Lawrence Technological University.
