New Episode Demonstrates Effective Mold Remediation Project Using Latest Dry Ice Blast Cleaning Technology; Cold Jet to Host Mold Remediation Webinar on October 1, 2008 to Provide More In-Depth Information on Mold Remediation Using Dry Ice Blast Cleaning

CINCINNATI, OH--(Marketwire - September 10, 2008) - Cold Jet, LLC, the global leader in dry ice blast cleaning and production solutions, today announced that its Aero dry ice blast cleaning system will be featured on the long-running History Channel documentary television series, "Modern Marvels." The episode, which will air on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. EDT/8:00 p.m. CDT, focuses on mold and fungus and will highlight a mold remediation project in the Midwest. The cleaning project will demonstrate the benefits of using Cold Jet dry ice blast cleaning to remove mold from a water-damaged home. The episode will also re-air on Saturday, September 20, at 7:00 p.m. EDT.

Cold Jet's dry ice blast cleaning systems are used by hundreds of cleaning contractors and company maintenance crews around the world for a variety of cleaning projects. The innovative cleaning process uses compressed air to accelerate soft recycled CO2 pellets at supersonic speeds at contaminated surfaces. The combination of the blasting speed and the temperature of the dry ice helps to kill more than 99.9 percent of mold spores. Dry ice blast cleaning is a non-abrasive, non-conductive process, meaning it will not damage the surfaces being cleaned and can be used to safely clean electrical components. Dry ice blasting is an environmentally responsible cleaning solution, does not create secondary waste and helps to reduce the need of dangerous chemical cleaning agents.

"Dry ice blasting has shown to completely remove mold spores from wood surfaces in less time and with less effort than other cleaning methods," said Gene Cooke, president and CEO of Cold Jet. "As viewers will see on the upcoming episode of "Modern Marvels," mold remediation contractors can use our dry ice blast cleaning systems to get in between beams and into roof sheathing, allowing for complete mold spore removal and eliminating the need for encapsulation and sometimes biocides. With the recent flooding problems in the Midwest, and along the Southeastern coastline and the Gulf Coast, this is a perfect time to educate the public on the benefits of a quick and effective mold remediation process."
