Compsat Technology to Host March 26th Security Event

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 23, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Compsat Technology, a strategic IT infrastructure and security solution integrator headquartered in Southfield, announces that it will be hosting "The Road2Security" on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the Detroit Regional Chamber, featuring special guest speaker Asa Hutchinson, the first Under Secretary of Homeland Security.

The Road2Security is a three-hour executive briefing, designed to help security executives throughout the region learn about the newest threats to the private and public sector and how to safeguard their organizations. There will also be a discussion centered on state and federal security requirements and how to strike the balance between privacy and security. Dan Glisky, Compsat President, stated, "Compsat is proud to be the only Midwestern company hosting this critical event which brings needed thought leadership to senior executives in the region."

Featured speaker Asa Hutchinson will discuss the post 9/11 threat environment, the role of the private and public sector in homeland security, and the importance of protecting your organization against new and increasingly complex threats.

Mr. Hutchinson, former Under Secretary of Homeland for Border and Transportation Security, and a former Congressman from Arkansas, is one of the founders of the Department of Homeland Security.

"Our goal is to ensure that participants take away a roadmap to secure their organizations," said Glisky. Compsat expects more than 100 security executives to participate in the event, which runs from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., with lunch served.
