TIBCO to Participate in National Defense University's Inaugural Cloud Computing Symposium

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - July 13, 2009) - TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ : TIBX ) today
announced its participation in the National Defense University's first ever
Cloud Computing Symposium to be held on July 15, 2009 at Fort Lesley J.
McNair in Washington, D.C.
Following on the heels of the recent launch of TIBCO Silver™, the
industry's first rapid cloud application delivery platform for the
enterprise, Matt Quinn, senior vice president of Engineering and Technology
Strategies for TIBCO, will join industry experts to exchange views on
"Lessons Learned on the Way to the Cloud." The panel will discuss the
specific capabilities and limitations of cloud computing, as well as
address over-arching trends like privacy concerns and scalability.

The symposium is expected to draw 500-600 government officials to examine
the value of cloud computing within the government sector, including
Federal CIO Vivek Kundra and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for
Information Management, Integration, and Technology & Deputy Chief
Information Officer David Wennergren. The event will be co-hosted by NDU's
Information Resources Management College and the Office of the Assistant
Secretary of Defense (Networks and Information Integration)/DoD CIO.

Computing vendor fair, which will be held during the all-day symposium. For
