WIRED magazine Publisher to Ring the NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell

ADVISORY, Dec. 14, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

 What:
WIRED magazine will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City's
 Times Square.

WIRED has been named Magazine of the Decade by the editors at
AdweekMedia because it survived the tech bust to chronicle the
myriad ways technology has changed our lives -- with editorial
content that spans business, entertainment and culture. At the same
time, WIRED itself is adapting to technology-driven changes in reader
habits. It's one of the few magazines that's translated itself
successfully to the Web, while serving as a platform to help parent
Conde Nast re-imagine print glossies for e-readers.

Howard Mittman, Publisher of WIRED magazine, and staff members
will preside over the NASDAQ Closing Bell.
