MMRGlobal CEO Wins Third Victory Over USDA in Fight to Protect Wild and Exotic Animals

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - August 2, 2010) -  Robert H. Lorsch, Chairman and CEO of MMRGlobal, Inc. (OTCBB: MMRF) (www.mymedicalrecords.com), received his third vindication over the USDA in a seven-year battle which began in an effort to save more than 800 wild and exotic animals located at the Wildlife WayStation (WWS) north of Los Angeles. Lorsch, in his role as "Best Friend" of the WayStation, helped the non-profit sanctuary, which has rescued and rehabilitated over 70,000 animals since its inception, correct more than 400 violations to come into compliance and regain its license. Details of the Decision are discussed in an article written by Andrew Klips, a freelance journalist and founder of OTC Showcase http://www.otcshowcase.com/?p=817, which follows information regarding publicly traded small cap companies. The article compares Lorsch's experience with the USDA with the well-publicized recent firing of Shirley Sherrod.

The case started in 2003 when the USDA filed a complaint against the Wildlife WayStation for code violations. When Lorsch asked representatives of the USDA what would happen if the WayStation could not comply, he was told that a large portion of the animal population could be euthanized. The organization cured all of the then pending violations through Lorsch's efforts, together with friends, business associates, local law enforcement and celebrities in the Hollywood community. "After the Wildlife WayStation raised and spent millions on compliance and received all necessary permits and licenses from county, state and federal agencies, the USDA filed a lawsuit, apparently with complete disregard for the lives of these animals," said Lorsch. "The USDA pursued for seven years an organization whose goal is protecting and caring for wild and exotic animals. I still have no idea of the agenda of certain individuals at the USDA other than to waste taxpayer's money. In the interim, the Wildlife WayStation continues to save the lives of countless animals that otherwise might not exist today."

Marc R. Hillson, Chief Administrative Law Judge, stated in his first Decision in the case, "In many ways, the government's case against Lorsch illustrates the maxim that 'no good deed goes unpunished.'"

Lorsch has been the recipient of many awards, including D.A.R.E. America's "Future of America Award"; the Muscular Dystrophy Association's "Humanitarian of the Year Award"; the Starlight Children's Foundation's "Golden Wish Award"; and the Wildlife WayStation's "Paws of Fame Humanitarian Award." For his public spirit, he was awarded the prestigious "C" Flag Private Sector Initiative from the White House during the Reagan Administration for his work in raising millions of dollars for financing state and local earthquake preparedness education. He attributes his involvement in earthquake and disaster preparedness to the development of the Emergency features located on MMRGlobal's www.mymedicalrecords.com website.
