("Energy Telecom" or "Company") (Other OTC:ENRG) (www.energytele.com) wishes to announce that its Form S-1 Resale Registration Statement, a copy of which is available at www.sec.gov, has been declared effective by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. The Registration Statement simply removes restrictions which apply under U.S. federal securities laws to the sale of certain shares previously issued by the Company.
The Registration Statement, while effective, allows certain shareholders to freely trade the shares issued (other than affiliates of Energy Telecom to whom certain re-sale restrictions will still apply). The Company is not issuing any new share capital and will not receive any proceeds from the sale of the shares by the selling shareholders.
