The acquisition enables Comtech EF Data to further expand its Wide Area Network (WAN) optimization product offerings for commercial applications. Leveraging Stampede's award-winning technologies, Comtech EF Data can deliver increased value to its customers by further reducing required bandwidth and better utilizing satellite links.
The Stampede FX Series combines both one-sided application delivery and two-sided WAN optimization into a single platform with the added flexibility of remote side WAN optimization options. The FX Series delivers unprecedented application performance, optimization, transparency, availability, and management for existing networks. The products utilize Stampede's Application Delivery Controller (ADC) and WAN Optimization Controller (WOC) technologies.
