Robert H. Lorsch Family Pavilion at California Science Center to Become Gateway to Home of Space Shuttle Endeavour as MMRGlobal Launches Campaign on Importance of Personal Health Records

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 14, 2011) - MMRGlobal, Inc. (OTCBB: MMRF), a leading provider of Personal Health Records and electronic document management and imaging systems for disaster preparedness, will feature its health IT products and services, including the Company's MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record (PHR), at the Connected Health Conference, April 27-28, 2011 in Chicago. The conference is expected to attract hospital administrators, physicians, healthcare executives, policymakers and wellness solution providers. While in Chicago, the Company will also host an investor road show and luncheon.

Coincidently, the Robert H. Lorsch Family Pavilion at the California Science Center in Los Angeles will become gateway to the Space Shuttle Endeavour's new permanent home after its final mission later this month. In 1983, Lorsch, who is Chairman and CEO of MMRGlobal, was credited with originating the concept of advertising in space (http://articles.latimes.com/2007/jun/10/business/fi-sunprofile10). In 2011, he will advertise the importance of a PHR on earth during the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards with a campaign that will be designed to underscore the importance of having a Personal Health Record (www.mmrvideos.com), especially in the wake of the recent disasters in Japan, New Zealand, Mexico, and elsewhere.

The Company will also use its Emmy sponsorship for promotions to healthcare professionals, the medical trade and to insurance brokers offering its Chartis Personal Health Record services (www.chartisinsurance.com/mmr).

MMRGlobal also announced the launch of wireless tools for connected healthcare and Telemedicine, which it plans on using as part of the backbone for wireless products and services. The details of the launch are currently confidential and are planned to be the subject of several joint press releases with yet to be announced strategic partners in the future.

According to Lorsch, "In the 1980s, then-President Reagan was encouraging the private sector to return the burden of government to business and industry. In response, I created the concept of advertising in space to call attention to the importance of mitigating the cost of space travel. Today, with the worldwide emphasis on the importance of health IT, MMR is designing its Emmy campaign to encourage families to get prepared with a Personal Health Record or electronic safe deposit box (www.myesafevideos.com)."

Lorsch has also been profiled in the book "Barbarians Led by Bill Gates: Microsoft from the Inside," which chronicled his contributions to the campaign launch of Microsoft® Windows®. He has actively promoted education in science and technology as both a Trustee and former Director of the California Science Center. "Transforming the healthcare system through the use of digitized medical records requires continued out-of-the box thinking in order to achieve goals set forth by the current Administration, which calls for Personal Health Records for most every American by 2014. MMRGlobal continues to lead the way with advanced user-friendly products and services that connect patients and their families with any doctor or hospital anywhere in the world," Lorsch added.

MMRGlobal was recognized by President George W. Bush and the U.S. Small Business Administration for deployment of its comprehensive turnkey MyMedicalRecords PHR and disaster preparedness document management and communications system. Lorsch has also received the "C" Flag Private Sector Initiative award from the White House for his work in earthquake preparedness as well as awards from the City and County of Los Angeles, the State of California, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and spent weeks in Japan working with the Japanese on earthquake preparedness safety as an expert and guest of that nation (www.mmrglobal.com/earthquake).
