EasyLink Services to Offer Fax as a Service Integrated Into SAP(R) Business ByDesign(TM)

NORCROSS, Ga., Oct. 20, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EasyLink Services International Corporation ("EasyLink" or "Company") (Nasdaq:ESIC) (www.easylink.com), a global provider of comprehensive cloud-based messaging services and e-commerce solutions, today announced that it has become a solution partner for SAP® Business ByDesign™. The EasyLink Fax as a Service application will be integrated with SAP Business ByDesign. The Fax Service will initially be offered in Germany and the United States with plans to expand the offering to other markets as well.

SAP Business ByDesign is a comprehensive, fully integrated, on-demand business management solution dedicated to companies in the small and midsized (SME) market as well as to subsidiaries of large enterprises running SAP solutions. SAP's software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution is hosted in the cloud and managed, monitored, and maintained by SAP experts in world-class data centers so companies can focus on running their business, not an IT infrastructure.

The solution is available through the SAP® Store on a subscription basis. EasyLink's Fax as a Service gives customers the ability to send and receive faxes from any SAP Business ByDesign module without additional hardware or software. The service offers seamless integration allowing users to easily send faxes from within their SAP application.

"We are excited to work with EasyLink as an important member of our fast growing SAP Business ByDesign ecosystem," said Eric Duffaut, President, Global Ecosystem and Channels, SAP. "Together we are leveraging the power of our cloud-based offering to create calculable efficiencies, improve productivity, and allow growing businesses to compete in a global environment."

"EasyLink is proud to partner with SAP," said Kevin Maloney, Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing of EasyLink Services. "EasyLink's Fax as a Service application will increase the productivity for SAP users that rely on fax communications as a critical part of their day-to-day business transactions, and eliminate the expense associated with the procurement and maintenance of fax machines and servers."
