MMRGlobal Receives Second Notice of Allowance for Company's Health IT Patent Portfolio

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Jan 4, 2012) - MMRGlobal, Inc. (OTCBB: MMRF) ("MMR"), a leading provider of Personal Health Records ("PHR"), MyEsafeDepositBox storage solutions and electronic document management and imaging systems for healthcare professionals (www.mmrprovideos.com), today announced that it has received a second Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office, further expanding the Company's proprietary claims for online personal health records and document imaging and filing solutions. This follows yesterday's announcement reporting that the Company received a first Notice of Allowance from the USPTO on its patent entitled "Method and System for Providing Online Medical Records." The additional Notice received yesterday expands the Company's claims to, amongst other things, the filing, management, navigation and accessing of potentially lifesaving data in a disaster or other emergency when every second counts. They also help ensure the privacy of a patient's most personal and confidential health records and important documents. The expanded claims also cover dental records, children's health records, and veterinary health records for pets.
