"Battelle has a long-standing tradition of mentoring and supporting small businesses," said Dr. John Wade, Vice President and Manager, Battelle National Security Global Business.  "As such, we were delighted at this opportunity to join with GTSC and our fellow Mentors L-3 STRATIS and SAIC to explore expanded opportunities for small businesses and to address issues faced by Large/Small Business Teams from the perspective of both."

"The Government Technology & Services Coalition is an important venue for the continued growth and development of American business capabilities in the Federal contracting and homeland security mission arenas," added Wayne Pizer, Vice President for Small Business Programs at L-3 STRATIS. "We are honored to continue L-3's leadership role in providing mentoring, advice and other assistance to our fellow national security companies."

Mentor investors join the Coalition to provide advice and counsel to small and mid-sized companies, find new and innovative teaming partners, address challenges in the prime/subcontractor relationship in a neutral environment, and improve mentor/protégé communication and success.  GTSC and its Mentor companies understand how critical a robust, successful homeland and national security market is to our security.   Together these firms are committed to working together to assure that our Federal government receives the best products, services and solutions possible to combat threats and secure our nation.
