MEDecision Announces Executive Promotion

Ken Young Named Chief Financial Officer


WAYNE, PA--(Marketwire - Mar 13, 2012) - MEDecision Inc., the leading provider in collaborative health management solutions, today announced that Ken Young has been promoted to chief financial officer.

Young has served as vice president of finance for MEDecision since 2010. For many years prior to that, he served as MEDecision's lead external auditor, helping the company comply with accounting, financial and regulatory requirements. In his new role as the company's Chief Financial Officer, he will oversee financial and legal operations and corporate compliance.

Young is a results-oriented senior financial executive experienced in providing business planning and optimization and performance measurement to high-growth public, private, U.S. and multinational companies. Most recently, he was vice president of finance for MEDecision, where he enhanced the company's operating performance through process improvement, cost control and new business development. Prior to that, he served in leadership roles at Grant Thornton LLP, where he oversaw audit and business advisory services for public and private technology, manufacturing and service organizations and was involved in several merger and acquisition transactions. Young holds a BS of Accountancy from Villanova University.
