NEW YORK, April 26, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CLEAR, the biometric secure identification platform known for speeding travelers through the airport, announced today that Gregg Brockway, a founder of TripIt and Hotwire, has joined the company's board of directors.

Mr. Brockway served as co-founder and Chief Product Officer of the online travel company Hotwire, from November 1999 to December 2004 (later acquired by Expedia). He was president of Expedia's luxury travel company Classic Vacations, Inc. from January 2005 until August 2006.
He joins Michael Chertoff, former Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, on CLEAR's Outside Board of Directors; Craig Coy, CEO of Command Security Corporation and the former President and COO of L3 Communications' Homeland Security Group and Chief Executive Officer of the Massachusetts Port Authority; Bill Miller, the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Legg Mason Capital Management; and Jeff Samberg, Managing Member of Acadia Woods Partners.
