The vet care team at ValueCare Pet Wellness Clinic announced that the companion animal care group will be participating in Woofstock. Organized by STAR 94 FM, Woofstock is a family-friendly celebration of pets that will be held at Suwanee Town Center Park on Saturday May 12th from 12:00pm to 7:00pm. The companion animal care team frequently participates in community events to raise awareness about the importance of routine vaccinations, annual wellness exams, and annual dental cleanings.

"We are excited to be joining this year's Woofstock festivities," said veterinarian Dr. Brad Miller. "Woofstock is a wonderful opportunity to bring together families, pets and animal care professionals to celebrate pets and raise awareness about the importance of routine wellness care."

"A veterinarian will be on-hand at our booth to discuss the importance of preventive care, including vaccinations, and answer any questions that pet owners may have," said veterinarian Dr. Michael Wanchick. "Many owners do not realize just how important regular exams and annual vaccinations really are to protecting a pet's long-term health. We look forward to meeting pet owners and their pets, and enjoy the family-friendly fun!"

Over 20 different animal groups and non-profit rescue groups are scheduled to be at Woofstock. Festival visitors can enjoy live music, a variety of food vendors, and an adults-only beer garden.

Woofstock entertainment includes the Ultimate Air Dogs Show, a Frisbee dog exhibition, and a Frisbee dog workshop. Pet owners may also bring their dogs to participate in Woofstock's three pet contests: the smallest dog contest, the biggest dog contest, and the pet/owner look-a-like contest. The contests will be held throughout the day, starting at 12:30pm.
