Keiretsu Forum Mid-Atlantic Hosts Its First Annual Angel Capital Expo

A Daylong Event For Angel Investors To Access Investment Opportunities In A Variety Of Industries And Network With Other Angel Investor


Philadelphia, PA, Sept. 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Keiretsu Forum Mid-Atlantic, which includes the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and D.C. Metro chapters, is a region of the global angel network Keiretsu Forum -- the world's largest and most successful accredited investor - private equity community. On Wednesday, October 24, 2012, the Mid-Atlantic chapter will host its first annual Angel Capital Expo at the Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia, Pa.

This daylong event, running from 7:15 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., includes 16 entrepreneur presentations that represent the Life Sciences & Medical Devices, Internet & Cloud Technologies, Consumer Products and Software, Security & Other Technologies sectors. There will also be six fast-pitch seed stage presentations.

In addition to the entrepreneur presentations, registrants will also enjoy breakfast, a welcome from founder and CEO of Keiretsu Forum Randy Williams, lunch with a special keynote speaker, breaks for booth exhibitions and a networking reception to close out the day.

Keiretsu investor members may also sign up to provide mentorship, presentation advice and feedback for the presenting entrepreneurs at instructional sessions the day before the Expo (October 23). These sessions will take place at the Scanticon Valley Forge Conference Center, located adjacent to the casino, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Investors who sign up to coach will receive a free Expo ticket to thank them for their time, effort and expertise.

PAN (Pennsylvania Angel Group) members and other unaffiliated angel groups are invited to refer portfolio companies for both the main entrepreneur presentations and the fast-pitch presentations. Keiretsu Forum recommends that these companies be A - B round startups looking for $250k - $3m in angel funding.
