Total Merchant Services Moves Operations to California

The State-of-the-Art Headquarters Will Drive Total's Innovative Tech-Driven Payments Solutions

BASALT, CO--(Marketwire - Mar 27, 2013) - Total Merchant Services (Total), announced today that it will consolidate its operations into a state-of-the-art facility in Woodland Hills, California, and close its Basalt, Colo. location on May 28, 2013.

Over the last 15 months, and under the leadership of its new CEO, Joe Kaplan, Total has transformed its services and developed innovative, technology-driven payment solutions that enable small and mid-sized companies to efficiently drive business operations. "We are focused on changing the way business solutions are marketed and sold," said Joe Kaplan, CEO. "Our Woodland Hills facility is best suited to support Total's domestic and international growth. We will be moving into a 50,000 square foot facility, fully equipped with collaboration rooms, state-of-the-art training facilities for our employees and sales partners, as well as a gym to support our corporate wellness culture."

In addition, Total will leverage its new facility to expand its Fanminder platform. Fanminder, recently acquired by Total, helps merchants better engage and attract new customers via social marketing collaboration and interaction. Supporting the new Fanminder offering, the company recently announced Next Day Funding and will soon release its innovative Tablet Point-of Sale solution that fully integrates the Fanminder technology.

"Our Basalt location has enabled us to build Total into who we are today, and we are extremely grateful to all of our employees. Although a very difficult decision, we feel it's the right move for Total in the long term," Kaplan said.
