ACC to Lead Panel on Evolving Role of Chief Legal Officers

The Association of Corporate Counsel's (ACC) President & CEO Veta T. Richardson to Visit New York Stock Exchange NYSE Euronext and Ring The Closing Bell(R)


WASHINGTON, April 25, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tomorrow, the Association of Corporate Counsel's (ACC) president and CEO Veta T. Richardson joins executives from Corpedia and Corporate Board Member at the New York Stock Exchange NYSE Euronext to engage in a series of panel discussions about emerging business and legal issues. The event is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., followed by the ringing of the Closing Bell® ceremonies from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

During the afternoon program, Richardson will moderate a panel discussion on the evolving role of the chief legal officer (CLO). The session will offer insight on the role of in-house lawyers as business executives, managing outside legal costs and issues that keep CLOs up at night. The other remaining sessions will provide insight from compliance officers and CEOs on topics related to communicating with board members, governance and performance.

Veta T.
