The Department of Labor projects that through 2020, the demand for court reporters is expected to grow 14 percent. Additionally, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median salary as of 2010 for Court Reporters is $47,710, while the top 10 percent earn more than $91,280 annually.
