Concurrent Technologies Corporation One of Five Awardees on $64.5 Million Contract to Support the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Office of Information Technology


JOHNSTOWN, Pa., May 31, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) has been named one of five awardees on a contract to support the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Office of Information Technology (OIT) under GSA Information Technology (IT) Schedule 70. This contract was awarded under full and open competition. It is a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) that includes a base year and four option years, worth an aggregate of $64.5 million.

The SEC is a federal agency that holds primary responsibility for enforcing the federal securities laws and regulating the securities industry, the nation's stock and options exchanges, and other electronic securities markets in the U.S. The OIT is responsible for organizing, implementing, and managing an integrated information technology program to support the SEC and its personnel.
 
CTC will provide the SEC OIT with software engineering services to define, design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the functionality of applications using the Oracle platform.
