Matrix Medical Network Expands Medicare Advantage Member Contact Center Operations


SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., July 1, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Matrix Medical Network, a national leader in prospective medical assessment services for Medicare Advantage (MA) plan members, has opened a new MA member contact center in Clearwater, Fla., to meet the needs of new clients and expanding opportunities to schedule home assessments with existing clients. The new location, which is adjacent to the existing contact center, began operations on Monday, June 24.

Matrix has continued to increase its rate of MA member contact and engagement since opening its first contact center in April 2012, which is now filled to capacity. This growth in the business drove the need to establish another contact center location.

This year, in early June, the company achieved a new single-day milestone when 2,056 MA members were scheduled for an assessment. In June 2012, the company's daily average was 881 members scheduled for assessments with a one-day high of 1,236 assessments scheduled.

Steve Tatarian, Senior Vice President of Member & Provider Relations, noted that the contact center expansion will allow Matrix to hire additional contact center employees to meet the needs of a growing company.

"We want to stay ahead of the growth in member assessments requested by our clients and this expansion will help us do that," said Mr. Tatarian. "Fifty-two current employees made the move to the new facility along with five new hires, four supervisors, and a manager."
