Alarm Grid Joins the Better Business Bureau (BBB)

LIGHTHOUSE POINT, Fla., Nov. 6, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The internet's most trusted consumer review company, The Better Business Bureau (BBB), has accepted Alarm Grid into its directory. With some of the most rigorous standards for acceptance, the addition and the high A- rating that was given to Alarm Grid are considerable coups for such a young company.

"For the last year we have focused on making sure that the experience of consumers is unlike one they have ever had when dealing with a home security company," Joshua Unseth, Director of Marketing, commented. "We're proud of our track record, and we're going to continue building Alarm Grid into the most successful, consumer-oriented alarm monitoring company in the United States."

To date that statement has been undeniably true. The unprecedented growth of the company that one year ago had never been heard of, is rare for a corporation that is a newcomer to an old industry like home security. But Alarm Grid's bet, focusing on consumer experience and clear and fair pricing, seems to be paying off.

"Our visitors are kind and gracious and generally very appreciative of the fact that when they speak to one of our techs, they are given honest answers and in-depth help even if they aren't actually one of our monitored customers," Alarm Grid's President, Sterling Donnelly, added. While most home security companies do not help consumers who are not signed up for their alarm monitoring, Alarm Grid has made it a matter of policy to help anyone who calls in and needs it. "I think it is that philosophy that has allowed us to join the Better Business Bureau without so much as even one complaint or problem that needs resolving."

The addition comes with numerous other benefits as well. Better Business Bureau's prominence within the home security industry has made it one of the most important ways that buyers make decisions about which home security company will monitor their home. It's that very reason that consumer advocacy site Best Home Security Companies uses the BBB's rankings as a major component of their ranking. Alarm Grid's high ranking on the BBB propelled it from its middling rating on the site to being ranked 7th among about 100 other companies also rated on the site. It's no surprise considering the tone struck by their on-site reviewers which has contributed to a perfect 10/10 user score on the site. "I am so impressed by the customer service," one raves. "[T]hey asked me if I need help as soon as I visited the site," says another.

Regarding the rating, Unseth commented, "As a young company, it is a huge honor to be considered anywhere near the top 10 companies in the United States. We want to make sure that our customers - past, present and future - understand that the philosophy we have executed during the first year of business is not a philosophy we ever plan to abandon. Our core principles are: experience, honesty, and relationship. Even as we grow, we want to make sure we maintain the feel of a small company that you can call up or email and know that you have a friend on the other line who is going to help you get where you need to go. We don't think it's long before we're ranked 1st by Best Home Security Companies, and we are going to do our best to make sure we keep our nose clean with regard to our rankings on the Better Business Bureau."

The unprecedented commitment to customer service coupled with the growth they've already seen, Alarm Grid is a company to watch in the coming year.
