BALTIMORE – Dec. 9, 2013 – Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) employee Craig Lee has received the 2013 Joseph W. Kearney Pioneer Award from the Association of Old Crows (AOC).

Lee, an electronic warfare systems architect, received the award in recognition of his notable pioneering activities in, and long service to, the discipline of electronic warfare. Lee accepted the award during the recent AOC Foundation Celebration of Excellence Awards Ceremony at the 50th Annual AOC International Symposium and Convention.

Lee has been a lead systems engineer/architect for more than 25 years and has made significant contributions to the electronic warfare community. He served as the technical lead on a number of significant programs, including the AN/ALQ-218 for the EA-18G Growler, which resulted in a newly developed digital receiver and enhanced capabilities that greatly improved the U.S. Navy's electronic attack effectiveness. He has also served as the lead in interferometry receiver technology that has played a key role in dramatically improving the geolocation capabilities of a variety of products.
