Albany Med Chooses CDPHP to Provide High-Quality Service to its Employees

ALBANY, N.Y., Jan. 19, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Albany Medical Center and CDPHP® continue their long-standing partnership into 2015 as hospital employees will now benefit from the health plan's best-in-class service and programs.

As of Jan. 1, CDPHP began providing administrative services for the hospital's self-funded employee health plan. In addition to paying claims and answering participant inquiries, the not-for-profit health plan will provide medical management, disease management, and wellness program services to more than 5,000 of Albany Med's employees. With dependents, the potential membership could reach 9,000. CDPHP will also administer Albany Med's flexible spending account (FSA).

"CDPHP and Albany Medical Center are like-minded organizations that share the goal of providing high-quality health care to the community, so this partnership is a natural fit for both of us," said John D.
