US Federal Contractor Registration: Federal Trade Commission Releases Writing Coach Solicitation on FedBizOpps (FBO)


WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - July 07, 2015) - The United States Federal Government as of 07/06/2015 has over 30,400 open solicitations on FedBizOpps where they are currently seeking out properly registered government contractors. US Federal Contractor Registration is reporting the release of the Installation of Writing Coach Solicitation posted to FedBizOpps (FBO) on July 6, 2015. The Writing Coach Solicitation currently has a response date set for July 17, 2015. Every business interested in bidding on the Writing Coach Solicitation must be properly registered in the SAM Registration, as well as have the North American Industry Classification System codes 611 - Educational Services, and 611430 - Professional and Management Development Training filed in their SAM account/vendor profile.

This solicitation document, FTC-15-Q-5051, is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide one-on-one coaching in legal writing to support the Bureau of Consumer Protection and the Office of International Affairs within the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Contract award type shall be a Labor Hour (LH) contract. The period of performance will be twelve months from date of contract award for the base period. The contract will also include four 12-month option periods.

This RFQ is 100% set aside for small businesses. Proposals received from other than small businesses will be rejected. The associated NAICS code is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training, with a business size standard of $11 million. The Federal Supply Class is U099.

The Request For Proposals (RFP), which includes a detailed description of the requirement, the CLINs, proposal submission instructions and all provisions/clauses that apply to this acquisition, can be found in the attached solicitation number FTC-15-Q-5051.

Offerors shall submit their proposals in accordance with the submission instructions contained in the solicitation by 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Friday, July 17, 2015. Only proposals received within the response timeframe will be considered by the Government. Offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation, all of its supporting documents, and any applicable amendments posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at http://www.fbo.gov. Amendments may be posted to FedBizOpps up until the response due date. All requests for clarification/questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Jacquelyn Johnson at jjohnson4@ftc.gov. No information concerning this RFP or requests for clarification will be provided in response to telephone calls. Questions will be received up to 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, July 9, 2015. Questions received after this time and date may not be answered.
