O-Town MacDown, Mac-and-Cheese Competition, to Benefit Give Kids The World

The Saturday, September 12 Orlando event offers plenty of mac-and-cheese and fun for the whole family


KISSIMMEE, FLA., July 8, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gather the family and come sample some amazing mac-and-cheese while determining the MacDown Champions of Central Florida, all to benefit kids with life-threatening illnesses. The second annual O-Town MacDown Presented by Give Kids The World will be held at Osceola Heritage Park on Saturday, September 12 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. The O-Town MacDown is an unbe-CHEESE-able afternoon of food and fun the whole family will enjoy.

The competition is open to professional chefs, restaurant chefs and caterers with the tastiest mac-and-cheese who want to show off their best cheesy concoction to earn bragging rights and great prizes. The winners of the professional and restaurant competitions at O-Town MacDown will have the opportunity to face off on stage in front of their colleagues at the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show, to be held two weeks later in Orlando, Florida.

This unique, family-fun O-Town MacDown will also include cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, unlimited mac-n-cheese and a Kids' Zone.
