Boat Refurbishment Services Solicitation currently has a response date set for July 17, 2015. The US Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina has a requirement for Boat Refurbishment Services. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. All quotes must reference Request For Quotation number H92239-15-T-0015. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-83, dated 2 July 15.. It is the Contractor's responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. Full text clauses are available at farsite.hill.af.mil. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336611. Size Standard is 1000 employees. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business.

The Government has a requirement for refurbishment services for two Boston Whalers Maritime Vessels by vendors capable to repair this equipment. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material/supplies, equipment, tools, supervision, and any other items necessary to provide refurbishment for Two (2) Boston Whaler vessels. The Contractor shall repair outer and inner portions of the boat, wiring, painting and sealing to proper operations as specified in this statement of work. Refurbishment should be completed within 90 days. Contractor shall:

  • remove engine brackets and inspect them
  • apply 5200 (sealing) and reinstallation of existing hardware.
  • remove the cabinet behind the steering station
  • install a new leaning post
  • repair all fiberglass damage inside and out, including the bottom.
  • prime and paint with Alexseal Polyester Polyurethane topcoat to include steering station, dive doors, hatches and hull.
  • remove and install new wiring for the electrical panels in steering station
  • be responsible for the security of the Government equipment and supplies while on the contractor job site.
