She serves as chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors of parent company Commonwealth Capital Corp., its affiliated broker-dealer Commonwealth Capital Securities Corp., and the company's general partner Commonwealth Income & Growth Fund Inc. Abbott-Springsteen is responsible for the company's corporate operations, business strategy, long-term growth strategy, broker-dealer relations development, product development and portfolio oversight.
Prior to Commonwealth Capital Corp., Springsteen-Abbott spent 17 years with Wheat First Butcher Singer, a regional broker-dealer in Richmond, Virginia. She served as senior vice president and marketing manager for the alternative investments division.
