Women's Executive Network (WXN) Founder, Pamela Jeffery, Receives Prestigious TIAW World of Difference 100 Award


TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - October 21, 2015) - Pamela Jeffery, founder of the Women's Executive Network (WXN), has been named a 2015 recipient of The International Alliance for Women (TIAW) World of Difference 100 Award.

The TIAW World of Difference 100 Awards recognize extraordinary individuals who have made a significant contribution to the economic empowerment of women locally, regionally or worldwide. Pamela is being recognized under the area of Entrepreneurship and is one of only nine Canadian women recipients for 2015. Other notable past recipients include WXN UK Advisory Board member Dame Fiona Woolf, Sally Armstrong, and Janice McDonald.

This year's nominations were received from 54 different countries, with the final 100 recipients reflecting a wide range of contributions on six continents. The awards are being presented at the TIAW Awards Gala on October 22, 2015 in Washington, DC during the TIAW Annual Global Forum.

About Pamela Jeffery

Since founding WXN in 1997, Pamela has helped oversee the organization's growth to include a community of 19,500 smart women and their organizations in the pursuit of excellence. Her extensive background in business and public affairs includes serving as a political advisor in the Ontario government and as a communications advisor to former Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Paul Martin.
