Office Enables More Efficient and Better Service of Growing Base of Regional Bike Share Programs

SAN FRANCISCO, CA and CAMBRIDGE, MA--(Marketwired - Jan 19, 2016) - Zagster, the leading provider of public and public/private bike sharing services, today announced it has opened a West Coast regional office, based in San Francisco at the iconic RocketSpace technology campus. The expansion will enable Zagster to better serve its numerous bike share programs across California and throughout the Southwest United States.

Zagster operates a growing number of bike sharing programs in the state of California and the West Coast in partnership with college campuses (including Santa Clara University and University of California-East Bay), employers (including Workday, Salesforce.com, Intuitive Surgical and Samsung), real estate developers (Irvine Company) and cities (Albuquerque, New Mexico). Across North America, Zagster has thousands of bikes deployed across more than 150 programs with tens of thousands of members having taken hundreds of thousands of rides in the past two years.

"We're seeing massive growth from our existing programs as well as interest from universities, businesses and real estate developers throughout the West," said Timothy Ericson, co-founder and CEO of Zagster. "What better place to put down roots than at RocketSpace, the home to so many iconic disruptive companies."
