COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 30, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Two websites created by eSchoolView received praise from the National School Public Relations Association for their form and function.
The Awards of Merit were issued for Grayson County Schools in Kentucky and Shaker Heights City Schools (Ohio) in advance of the association's annual conference July 17-20 in Chicago. Just 23 of 65 websites were recognized in NSPRA's 2016 Publications and Electronic Media Contest.
eSchoolView, based in Columbus, Ohio, launched Grayson County Schools' website overhaul in January. The tailor-made site, complete with a new domain brought a dramatic new appearance and capability to the district's web presence.
eSchoolView has worked with Shaker Heights City Schools for nearly a decade. Its redesigned site was launched during the 2015-16 school year and deepens the district's ability to connect with its community.
Intuitive navigation, an emphasis on crisp graphics and the prominent role of a photo gallery are key elements to the new designs. Less emphasis on text also increases interaction between the site and end-user.
The mobile performance of both sites also improved dramatically with eSchoolView's responsive design. The sites are optimized to display on a variety of platforms and can be accessed through eSchoolView's KnowItAll app which is available for free in the IOS and Android app stores.
eSchoolView builds custom websites for K-12 schools — public, private, charter and faith-based — with its easy-to-use Content Management System (CMS) and other integrated products. The CMS platform helps districts expand their reach with the ability to embed blogs, surveys, RSS feeds, e-newsletters, podcasts and videos.
The NSPRA awards are not the only national recognition SchoolView has received this school year. CIOReview selected eSchoolView in December as one of the country's 50 most Promising Education Technology Solution Providers.
In March, OneView, eSchoolView's solution for enhancing data integration, was recognized as a 2016 Cool Tool by EdTech Digest. OneView allows school districts to read and push data back into various student information systems (SIS), such as ProgressBook, PowerSchool or Infinite Campus. In turn, the software increases internal efficiency and parent engagement through one login.
eSchoolView was created in 2008. Since then, its revenue growth lands the company near the top third (at 1907) of Inc. Magazine's 5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S. for the second consecutive year.
