Alexander G. Markovsky's New Book 'Liberal Bolshevism' Exposes Marxism in America

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Jul 21, 2016) - Alexander G. Markovsky, a Soviet émigré, engineer, economist and scholar of Marxism, pens reflections on the current political upheaval in his new book Liberal Bolshevism, subtitled America Did Not Defeat Communism, She Adopted It (www.alexmarkovsky.com).

This fascinating idea is well substantiated through the author's theoretical knowledge, unique personal experience, and the record of immense socialist programs developed by the Democratic Party.

Looking at the United States through the prism of Marxism, Mr. Markovsky is pointing out the chronic American problem -- a failure to recognize that the Democratic Party has not been offering a different philosophy for achieving the same objectives, but for years has had a different philosophy and different objectives entirely.

Mr. Markovsky presents irrefutable evidence that the Democratic Party has transformed itself into Social Democratic Party and adopted Marxism in a new ideological paradigm founded on government dependence, which he calls Liberal Bolshevism.

Mr. Markovsky calls Obama the most consequential president of the last century and an embodiment of the Democratic Party's Marxist ideology. The contenders for Obama's legacy, Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton, are charting Obama's ideological vistas masked as Democratic socialism and progressivism.

To boost his case Mr. Markovsky quotes a prominent Russian journalist, Stanislav Mishin, who gloomily wrote after the 2008 election, "The proud American will descend into slavery without a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world how free he really is."

Mr. Markovsky believes Mishin could still be proved wrong; the socialist's overreach could turn out to be a political wake-up call for this nation, like Pearl Harbor or 9/11.

Therefore, he says, the upcoming elections are not really about Democrats or Republicans. It is about what kind of country Americans are going to have: "One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all" or "One nation under debt, with equality in poverty for all"? "The land of the free" or "The land of the voting herd"?

Overall, Liberal Bolshevism is intended as a dissident course of economics and political education.
