Plaza Bank Hires Jon Hansen as Vice President and Business Development Officer, SBA and Commercial Lending in San Diego


IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 12, 2016) -  Plaza Bank (OTCBB: PLZZ) (the "Bank") is pleased to announce it has hired Jon Hansen as Vice President and Business Development Officer, SBA and Commercial Lending in San Diego. In this role, he is responsible for building relationships with local business owners and originating loans to meet their unique commercial real estate needs.

Mr. Hansen, who joined Plaza Bank in July 2016, is based in the Bank's San Diego regional business center. An expert banker with 15 years of industry experience, he specializes in commercial real estate financing and SBA 7(a) and 504 lending programs.

Prior to joining Plaza Bank, Mr. Hansen was a commercial lender for Wells Fargo Bank, where he served small and mid-size business with a variety of credit facilities. While there, he focused on conventional owner-user financing, SBA lending, acquisition lending, partner buyouts, equipment finance, and working capital deals. Mr. Hansen has held various business development, client management, and loan officer positions with La Jolla Bank and JPMorgan Chase, winning various production and service awards, throughout his career.

Mr. Hansen earned his B.S. in Business Management from Utah Valley University and also has completed National Association of Guaranteed Government Lenders (NAGGL) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) coursework at University of California, San Diego.

An active member of the community, Mr. Hansen received Escondido City mayor's Driving Force award for his support and participation in a variety of organizations, including Junior Achievement, Boys to Men, and Interfaith Community Services. He also is the former Activities Chair for San Diego Boy Scouts of America and Vice President of the local Optimist International club. He and his family reside in San Diego's North County region.
